Even better than the first. I WANT MORE! This is sheer fun and escapism. However, it did lead me to take up sport shooting. Don't pass this up, but read the first in the series before you get to this one.

Fantastic! Write faster! Larry has now moved to my "must buy list" with Weber, Ringo, Bujold, Flint, Drake. Fast fast page turner, went through the first one and the ARC in about 4 days.... and I even still made it to work too... not sure how useful I was, but anyway. GREAT stuff!

I find it hard to believe that Mr Correia is not a more published author. Both the books in the Monster Hunter series are well written, with excellent pacing, good narrative, enjoyable action, and in my opinion a wicked sense of humor. I look forward to what he brings out in the future.

As good as the first book, maybe better. I'm a little concerned at the ending, as I can already guess at least two parts of the plot of the next book- but I definitely look forward to the next book!

Better than the first one. Together with the Grimnoir samples, Larry is now on my must buy list of authours. Almost at the level of John and Tom, currently, and sure to be there in the next couple of books. Maybe Tom Stranger can help.

Correia has joined the ranks of Ringo and Weber on my always buy list. Monster Hunter International was amazing and Vendetta just keeps the same amazingly high standard. If you like balls to the wall action laced with fall down humor in a world you're dying to know more about, Correia is your man.

The story twists and turns with unexpected surprises that never disappoint. Multiple story lines weave together forming a wonderfully complex pattern with an almost addictive need to keep reading just to find out what happens next. This isn't best writing I've ever read, but it's close and has some of the best ideas. It's rare to find a world so fully realized so early in a series.
